Looking for Great Reads

I just finished To Kill a Mockingbird last night. It was so, so good - just as good as A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I do think those are two of my favorite books of all-time, and they are classics. Both of them have innocent and sweet children characters.

This is the edition that Ryan got me for Christmas.

I am wondering what are your favorite classics, and what are some of your favorite non-classics that you've read over the years. I am always looking for really good books to read, so please share! Also tell me why you like it/them so much. Would you, please?
